NET Framework and Visual C++ for CS Professional Suite

Repair or reinstall .NET or C++
Follow these steps if you need to repair or reinstall .NET or C++.

You can't uninstall or repair the .NET framework in Windows 11.

- Go to the drive or network location where your CS Professional Suite application is installed.
- Open theWinCSIfolder.
- Open the folder for the CS Professional Suite application you're having trouble with. For example, UTYY for UltraTax CS (where YY is the year of the program).
- Open theDesktopfolder.
- Follow these steps for the component you need to repair or reinstall:
- For .NET:
- Open either theMSIfolder or thedotnetfxfolder.
- Open eitherdotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64.exeorNDP461-KB3102436-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe.
- SelectYesif you get the messageDo you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?
- Select eitherRepairorUninstall.
- For C++:
- Open either theMSI\VC[[C++ version]]SP1folder or thevcredist_x86folder.
- Open eithervcredist_x86.exeorvc_red.msi.
- SelectYesif you get the messageDo you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?
- Select eitherRepairorUninstall.
- To install .NET or C++ again, repeat steps 1-6 and selectInstall.
Infragistics
Infragistics is a third-party software company that develops user interface (UI) controls for the .NET environment, like dropdown menus or sub-schedules. Infragistics is part of the desktop setup and requires a proper installation of the .NET Framework to function correctly.
If you're having problems with dropdown menus, sub-schedules, or other UI functions, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Infragistics.
