System requirements

If you use this application in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment, follow those requirements; local workstation requirements are significantly lower.

Mobile CS customers

If you use the Mobile CS app (which lets you access Practice CS data from mobile devices), the system requirements for your devices are as follows:
  • Apple iOS devices:
    • iOS version 12.0 or later
    • 5.5 MB device storage
  • Android devices:
    • Android OS 5.0 or later
    • 2.0 MB device storage
  • A Wi-Fi or cellular data connection

Network installations

Use a supported Windows server, and it needs to be a full installation. We don't support core installations, because they don't install .NET components. Additionally, we don't recommend wireless networks for use with any CS Professional Suite application.
Unless they let a Windows host control, we don't support network-attached storage (NAS) devices as file servers, because they don't meet the requirement of using a Windows operating system.
note
NAS devices often use proprietary operating systems that may not handle file locking properly and may cause data corruption and/or performance issues.
