Set up integration and data sharing in UltraTax CS

Follow these steps in UltraTax CS to set up integration and data sharing with Practice CS.
  1. In UltraTax CS, select
    Setup
    ,
    User Preferences
    , then the
    File Locations
    tab. This setting is user-specific and will need to be set by each user.
    • Select
      Setup
      ,
      Office Configuration
      , then the
      Default User Preferences
      tab to set and apply default preferences, including file locations, for all users.
  2. From the list of Integrated applications, select
    CS Practice Products
    .
  3. In the list of file types, select
    Practice CS client data
    and verify that the path is correct. The default path is
    X:\WinCSI\Practice CS Data
    , where X is the drive or network location where Practice CS is installed.
  4. If the path isn't correct, select
    Modify Location
    and go to the Practice CS data location.
