Set up a Web Page custom portlet

You can create a portlet that points to a web page of your choice. The page is displayed within the portlet on a dashboard.
note
If you access Practice CS through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), this portlet is unavailable.
  1. Choose
    Setup
    , then
    Custom Portlets
    .
  2. Select the
    Add
     button.
  3. In the
    Description
     field, enter a name for the portlet. This name will appear in the
    Select Portlets
     window and in the portlet’s title bar.
  4. In the
    Type
     field, select
    Web Page
    .
  5. To create a portlet that all firm employees can view, mark the
    Allow others to view this portlet
     checkbox. If you leave this checkbox unmarked, only the staff member who creates the portlet can view it.
  6. In the
    Website
     field, enter the web address for the web page and select the
    Go
     button next to the field.
  7. Select
    Enter
     to save the portlet.
