Assign entities to a project template

Use the Associated Entities window to assign client entities to a project template.
When you assign an entity to a client during client setup (
Setup
Clients
), the application prompts you if projects are associated with the entity. You can then choose whether to assign the associated projects and any additional projects to the client.
  1. To open the
    Associated Entities
     window, choose
    Setup
    Templates
    Projects
    .
  2. In the
    Project Templates
     screen, select
    Add
     to create a new template or
    Edit
     to update an existing template.
  3. Select the ellipsis button next to the
    Associated Entities
     field.
  4. In the
    Associated Entities
     window, select an entity in the left pane and then select
    Select
     to assign it to the project template.
    Select
    Select All
     to assign all entities to the template. Select
    Remove
     to remove entities that you don’t want to assign.
  5. Select
    OK
     to save your changes and close the window.
  6. Select
    Enter
     to save the project template.
