Reporting

Preview a report

  1. Select
    File
    , then
    Print Reports
    .
  2. Select a report or profile from the list of reports, then select the
    Select
    .
  3. Repeat as needed to select more reports.
    tip
    You can also double-click reports and profiles in the list to move them to the Selected Reports list.
  4. If you get the SQL Server error with invalid column name messages when you print a report, press and hold the
    Shift
     key when you select a report. This will clear any filters.
  5. Use the
    Report Options
     and
    Layout
     tabs to customize the report’s output.
  6. Select
    Preview Selected
    .
  7. When you've finished previewing the report, select
    Back
     to return to the
    Print Reports
     screen.
    tip
    You can select data within the preview window to trace the origins of that data back to the input screens. Your cursor will change when you point to an item you can select. You can also use the toolbar in this window to work with the data.
