Use security groups to give staff access to reports
To print a report in Practice CS, you'll need to have security access to it. By default, Practice CS turns off access to reports for new security groups. If a report is missing from your list of reports, verify your firm’s security set up.
Go to
Setup
, then
Staff
.
Find the staff member, then select the
Security
tab.
Make a note of the staff member's security groups.
Select
Setup
, then
Security Groups
.
Find the 1st security group you noted in step 3 and select
Edit
.
On the
Privilege Selection
panel, select
Practice CS
,
Menu
,
File Menu
, then
Print Reports
to see the categories of reports.
Select each category to expand it.
Mark the checkbox for the report.
note
When you mark the checkbox, Practice CS may also mark other checkboxes if these are needed for the staff member to access the report.
If the staff member belongs to more than 1 security group, you'll need to repeat steps 5 to 8 for each group.
note
The staff member will need to re-open Practice CS for the changes to take effect.
