Change the client billing contact from the primary contact

Customers can have an alternate contact for invoices and statements other than the primary contact.
A client might request that you send their invoices and statements to a contact other than the designated primary contact. The alternate contact might be an additional contact associated with the client, or a completely separate contact.
note
If you want to send the invoice and statement to the primary contact but at a different address, refer to Adding an alternate mailing address for invoices and statements.
To enter a different billing contact for a client:
  1. Select
    Setup
    , then
    Clients
    .
  2. Select the
    Contact Info
    tab, then
    Edit
    .
  3. Select the dropdown next to
    Billing Contact
    in the
    Contact Card
    list.
  4. Select a contact from the list. You can select an additional contact for the client or any other contact from the
    All Contacts
    list.
The information for the selected billing contact will be used for all contact-related fields on your invoices and statements.
