Custom fieldview editor

The
custom fieldview editor
is a window where you can add, edit, or delete custom fieldview items for specific fields. You may want to use this window to add multiple items for a field, or to edit or delete an item that was entered incorrectly.
Custom fieldviews are available for certain fields in which you likely enter the same information repeatedly, such as the
City
or
County
fields on the
Clients
setup screen. In these fields, you can either enter information manually or select it from a list of entries.
You can add items to the list of existing entries by entering text and then pressing CTRL + S while the cursor is still in the field. Alternately, you can right-click within the field and select
Add
.
To edit existing fieldview items, follow these steps.
  1. Select an item in the left pane and then select
    Edit
    .
  2. Within a custom fieldview field, press CTRL + W (or right-click and select
    Edit
    ). The editor window for that field opens.
  3. In the right pane, make any necessary changes to the information.
  4. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes.
  5. When you are finished, select
    Done
    to close the editor window.
You can also use the editor to add and delete items from the fieldview. Follow the same steps to open the editor window, and select
Add
to add new items, or select an item and select
Delete
to delete it.
