Link to interactions

Use the Select Interactions dialog to create links to one or more interactions from a
Links
tab in the application.

You can link to interactions only if you are licensed for the Client Management module.
You can create a link to an interaction from any
Links
tab in the application by using the
Select Interactions
window.
  1. Open the
    Select Interactions
    window by right-clicking within the
    Links
    tab and choosing
    Add Interaction
    from the context menu.

    If you are adding a link from a setup screen, such as
    Clients
    , select
    Add
    or
    Edit
    before the context menu becomes available.
  2. If necessary, narrow the list of interactions to find the interaction you want to link to.
    • Use the
      Search
      field at the top of the window to search for text contained in the interaction. You can search for specific characters by selecting
      Exact
      ,
      Begins with
      ,
      Contains
      , or
      Ends with
      . You can also select from recent searches.
    • Select the two blue down arrows button and use the
      Filter
      field to narrow the list by one or more interaction fields, or select the
      More
      ellipsis button to create a custom filter.
    • Clear the
      Show last 30 days only
      checkbox to display more interactions. This checkbox is selected by default.
  3. Select one or more interactions from the list.
    To select multiple interactions, hold down the
    SHIFT
    key or
    CTRL
    key while selecting the interactions.
  4. Select
    OK
    to return to the
    Links
    tab.

    If you are working in a setup screen, such as
    Engagement Templates
    , select
    Enter
    to save your changes to the setup item.
The selected interaction links are added to the
Links
tab.
