Link to a web page from Practice CS
Use the Select Web Page window to create a link to a web page from any
Links
tab in Practice CS.You can add a web page link from any
Links
tab in Practice CS.- Open the Select Web Page window by right-clicking within theLinkstab and choosingAdd Web Pagefrom the context menu.noteIf you are adding a link from one of the setup screens, such asClients, you must select theAddorEditbutton before the context menu is available.
- In the Select Web Page window, enter the address of the page you want to link to in theWeb pagefield.noteFor most pages, you don’t need to enterhttp://wwwor another prefix before the URL. Entering the address alone, for exampletax.thomsonreuters.com, is sufficient.
- Select theGo
button. - Verify that the page is the one to which you want to link, and then selectOKto save the new link.
The web page link is added to the
Links
tab.note
- By default, the link is named after the title of the web page. You can rename the link by right-clicking it and choosingRename Linkfrom the context menu.
- If you are in one of the setup screens, such asEngagement Templates, you must select theEnterbutton to save your changes to the setup item.
