Activate staff benefits

Turn on one or more benefits for a staff member from the
Benefits
tab in the
Staff
setup screen.
This procedure assumes that you have already set up comp time on the Firm setup screen and/or set up accruable benefits on the Activities screen.
If your firm uses the security feature, staff access to this tab can be restricted or limited to view-only.
  1. Open the
    Staff
    setup screen.
    Choose
    Setup
    Staff
    .
  2. Select the
    Benefits
    tab.
  3. Select a staff member and select
    Edit
    .
  4. Turn on the benefit.
    In the
    Active
    column, select the checkbox next to each benefit that you want to turn on for the staff member.
  5. Enter the effective date.
    In the
    Effective Date
    field, enter the date that the benefit became active or will become active.
  6. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes.
The selected benefits are turned on for the staff member as of the effective date you entered.
