Set up a To Do item

If your firm is licensed for the Staff Management module, you can create to do items for yourself and other staff members.
Your firm must be licensed for the
Staff Management
module.
Staff members who create to do items must have add and edit security permissions for
Schedule Items
.
  1. Open the
    To Do
    window.
    Select the
    Add
    button on the main toolbar, and then select
    To Do
    .
  2. Enter a description for the item.
    In the
    Description
    field, enter a description of the item.
    note
    This field is required.
  3. Select a client.
    In the
    Client
    field, select a client if the to do item relates to a specific client.
    If the item doesn’t concern a particular client, leave this field blank.
  4. Select an engagement.
    If you selected a client, select an engagement in the
    Engagement
    field.
    note
    If no client is selected, the
    Engagement
    field is unavailable.
  5. Select an activity.
