Staff skill ratings

Use the
Staff Skill Ratings
screen to define descriptions for levels of staff expertise.
Staff skill ratings are descriptions for levels of staff expertise. Staff skill ratings, along with staff skill areas, are used to specify a staff member's skill set.
To open the
Staff Skill Ratings
screen, choose
Setup
Staff Skill Ratings
.

The
Staff Skill Ratings
screen is available only if you are licensed for the
Staff Management
module and have security permissions to access it.
If your firm is also licensed for the
Project Management
module, you can use staff skill set filters to help select staff to work on projects.

Add a staff skill rating

In the
Staff Skill Ratings
screen, select
Add
.
In the
Description
field, enter a skill rating, such as
Novice
or
Expert
.
The
Description
field is limited to 30 characters and doesn’t let duplicate descriptions.
Select
Enter
.

Modify staff skill ratings

In the
Staff Skill Ratings
selection list, select the skill rating that you want to modify.
Select
Edit
, make the necessary changes to the description, and then select
Enter
to save your changes.
