Error when unposting time transactions

If you receive an error when unposting time transactions, the rate on the engagement or activity may have changed. Temporarily revert the rate to match the transaction to resolve the error.

When you try to unpost one or more time transactions, you may get the following error:
The following time entry sheets could not be fully modified because they contain incomplete entries or have already been billed
.
This error occurs when the rate on the engagement or activity has changed since the transaction was posted and no longer matches the rate on the transaction.

Solution

Temporarily change the rate description on the activity or client engagement to match the rate on the transaction. Once you've unposted the transaction, you can change the rate back.
