Hide the amount column in time and expense entry

You may want to hide the
Amount
column in
Time & Expense Entry
from certain staff members. For example, you may not want the staff member to know the billing rate being used, which can be determined by dividing the amount by the number of hours.
You can use a security group to control the visibility of the
Amount
column.
  1. Select
    Setup
    then
    Security Groups
    .
  2. Select the security group you want to change, then
    Edit
    .
  3. Select
    Practice CS
    ,
    Data
    ,
    Time & Expense Data
    , then
    WIP Amount
    .
  4. If there's a checkmark or colored square for
    WIP Amount
    , unmark it.
  5. If you want the amount to be visible but you dont' want the staff members to be able to change the amount, select the plus sign in front of
    WIP amount
    , then mark the checkbox for 
    View
    .
  6. Select
    Enter
    to save the change.
