Track variable-cost expense items

Set up expense activities with a unit price and unit cost of $1.00 to track expense items whose cost changes each time they occur accurately.
To track the cost of an expense item that varies each time it occurs, follow these steps:
  1. In the expense activity setup, enter $1.00 in both the
    Unit Price
    and
    Unit Cost
    fields.
  2. When entering expense transactions in Time and Expense Entry, enter the full price of the item in the
    Units
    field.
Practice CS will then calculate and display the correct cost in reports such as the Time and Expense Listing, Billing Analysis, and Production Analysis.
