Practice CS selects the wrong project in time and expense entry

Practice CS may select the wrong project from the
Projects
 dropdown in time and expense entry. Select the
Projects
 dropdown again and choose the correct project to resolve this.
Practice CS may select the wrong project from the
Projects
 dropdown in time and expense entry when the following conditions are met:
  • The
    Projects
     dropdown is filtered to exclude completed and canceled projects.
  • The project generation option is set to
    Generate the next project "When the current project is complete"
    .
When both conditions apply, the following sequence can trigger the issue:
  1. You select a project from the dropdown.
  2. You set the project's
    Tracking Description
     to
    Completed
     in the
    Task Selection
     screen.
  3. On the next Time and Expense transaction, you click the
    Project
     dropdown. The completed project no longer appears, and the newly generated project is available.
  4. You select the new project, but Practice CS selects the original completed project instead.

Solution

Select the
Project
 dropdown again and choose the correct project.
