Video: Client portal experience

  1. Welcome to the
    Client Portal Experience
    as seen on a desktop.
  2. You will receive an email from noreply@safesendreturns.com.
  3. Select
    Access Client Portal
    to begin.
  4. Enter your email address and select
    Continue
    if you already have a Client Portal account.
  5. Select
    Sign Up
    to create an account.
  6. To register a new account, enter your name and email address, then select
    Verify your email
    .
  7. An access code is sent to your email.
    note
    The code is valid for 20 minutes, until you use it, or until you generate a new code.
  8. Enter the code and select
    Confirm
    .
  9. Create a PIN that is used to access your Client Portal account in the future.
  10. Enter the PIN again to confirm it.
  11. Select
    Create Account
    to finalize your registration and sign in.
  12. Select
    Continue
    to begin the standard sign in process.
  13. Enter your pin and select
    Continue
    . A new access code is sent to your email address.
  14. Enter the code and select
    Confirm
    .
    note
    In the future, you are only prompted to enter your PIN when signing in from a new browser or device.
  15. This is your landing page for the Client Portal. You can review:
    1. recent activity
    2. pending tasks
    3. completed tasks
    4. firm contact information
    5. notifications
  16. Review your recent activity.
  17. Select
    Send Files to CPA
    to upload documents for your tax firm.
  18. Review the
    Contact Information
    for someone at your tax firm.
  19. Select the notification bell to open your recent notifications.
  20. You can select a line item to be directed to that task or document.
  21. Select
    Completed Tasks
    to review recently completed items.
  22. Select
    OK
    to close this window.
  23. Review your Pending Tasks.
  24. Select Get Started to open the related task. You are guided through the Client Experience for that item.

    to review and download your tax documents.
  26. Use the

  28. Expand the dropdown for the headers and sub headers.

    to see a sample of the document.

    to download a copy of the document.

    menu for additional options.

    to see a note from your tax firm.

  35. You can also review the signature status for documents that require a signature.
