Delivered action menu

Learn how to use the Delivered action menu to manage recipient access, reminders, downloads, document status, notes, client details, and other document-level actions.
The
Delivered
section displays documents that have been delivered to the client but not yet archived. The
Action
menu provides document-level options that help you manage access, delivery, recipient information, reminders, and status updates.

Unlock Recipients

Recipients can become locked out after entering an incorrect or expired access code. Use
Unlock Recipients
to restore access to a direct document link or a Client Portal account.
note
SafeSend Support can't unlock a document or Client Portal account. This action must be performed by the firm.
This option appears only when the document is locked.

Download Documents

Use
Download
to retrieve signed forms and related files for a delivered document.
note
Documents in any status can be downloaded. Only documents with an
E-Signed
status include an audit report.
You can download individual PDFs or download all available documents as a ZIP file.
Use
Resend Access Link
to send the recipient's access link again or copy the access link to your clipboard.
note
This option is available only for recipients who have already signed. To resend the link to a recipient who hasn’t signed, use
Send Reminder
.

Set Access

Use
Set Access
to restrict document access to specific users or to grant access to additional users. System administrators always have access to all documents, while access may still be affected by
Office Location
settings.
If there are no user rights restrictions,
Everyone
appears in the
Users with Access Rights
column.

Recall Document

Use
Recall Document
when you need to pull back a delivered document and make changes. After recall, the signer receives a notification that the document has been recalled.
Once recalled, the document can be reprocessed from the
Draft
section.

Change Status

Use
Change Status
when a client signs manually through the
Signer Experience
.
The available status options include:
  • Manually Signed
, which marks all signing steps as completed by the signer.
  • Not Signed
, which resets the signing steps so the recipient can attempt to eSign again.

View Access Code

Use
View Access Code
to view the current access code or generate a new access code for a document recipient.
note
  • You can view or generate access codes only for documents that require access code authentication or have a Client Portal account.
  • The client must have requested at least one access code for this option to be available.
  • The code isn't resent automatically to the recipient's phone number or email address and must be shared separately.
You can work with access codes for either the direct document link or the Client Portal, depending on how the recipient accesses the document.

Send Reminder

Use
Send Reminder
to notify clients that they still need to sign their documents. Reminder options are available only for documents that haven’t been signed.
You can either send a reminder immediately or configure automated reminders. If automated reminders are already enabled, a warning appears before a manual reminder is sent.

Document Note

Use
Document Note
to add or review notes associated with a Signature document. Any user who has access to the document can view or edit the note.

Client Tracking

Use
Client Tracking
to review activity performed by both the firm and the client for a specific document.

Edit Client Details

Use
Edit Client Details
to update recipient email addresses and authentication methods.
note
Recipient information can be edited only for unsigned documents.

Report a Problem

Use
Report a Problem
to send document-specific information to Support for troubleshooting. Include a detailed description of the issue so the Support team has enough context to investigate.

Delete Document

Use
Delete Document
to move a document from
Delivered
to the
Recycle Bin
. Deleted documents can be restored or permanently deleted, and clients can't access documents in the Recycle Bin.
note
Recipients are notified when the document is deleted.
If needed, the document can be restored from the
Recycle Bin
and returned to the
Delivered
section.
