Add Document types

Add and turn on document types in Settings so they appear during upload and documents can be delivered without document type errors.
This article outlines how to resolve the following message:
Please select a document(s) type.
Document Type(s)
must be present before documents can be delivered.
Document Type(s)
can be added under the
Settings
menu if no selections are available.

Add Document types

  1. Select
    Settings
    .
  2. Select 
    General
    .
  3. Select the
    Add
    button under
    Signature
    Document Type
    .
  4. Enter the display name of the document type in the
    Value
    field.
  5. Set the default
    File Expiration
    timeframe for that document type.
  6. Select the
    Activated
    checkbox to ensure the document type appears in the drop-down menu.
  7. Select
    Add
    .
You can now select the new
Document Type
during upload.
