Extensions Report dashboard
The Extensions Report dashboard displays and manages all extensions delivered to clients that haven’t yet been archived. Upload extensions, refresh the page, customize column options, apply and save filters, export data to Excel, and view additional report details.

The following outlines the Extensions Report dashboard layout and navigation. This reporting section displays all extensions that the firm has delivered to the client but hasn’t yet archived.

New extensions are processed and managed in the Tax Returns dashboard.
The Extensions Report is only used to manage extensions delivered before January 24, 2026.
To access your delivered extensions:
- Select theNavigation Widget.
- SelectExtensions.
Upload
You can upload extensions for processing from the
Returns
dashboard.Refresh
Select the
Refresh
icon to refresh the page. This is helpful if you have made adjustments and don't see those reflected in real time.Column options
The column display can be edited to suit your needs.
- Select theColumn Optionsbutton.
- Select the switch to turn a column on or off (display or don’t display column).noteYou can't turn off theClient IDcolumn.
- Drag and drop the columns to reorder them. This also reorders them on your delivered extensions dashboard.
- SelectOkto save any changes made.
Filter options
You can apply, save, and clear filters. The filters are searches that can be saved for quick access.
Type into the column headers or select an option from the column header dropdown to filter extensions.
Select the arrows at the top of the column to sort in ascending/descending order.

The tax year filter is automatically applied to show the most recent tax year extensions.
- Apply recent filter: Apply the most recent filter that was used.
- Save current filter: Save a currently applied filter.
- SelectSave Current Filter.
- Enter a filter name.
- SelectSaveto add the filter to your saved filters list.
- Clear Filter: Remove all filters including the tax year filter.
- Saved filters:
- Select one of your saved filters to:
- Apply it to theExtensions Reportsection.
- Set it as a default for whenever you visit theExtensions Reportsection.
- Delete the saved filter.
Export to Excel
You can export the entire
Extensions Report
as an Excel spreadsheet.- Select theExport to Excelbutton.
An Excel file showing all displayed rows/columns is created and downloaded. This report also includes taxpayer and spouse email addresses.
Additional report options
You can select certain areas of the
Extensions Report
to see additional information. You can select any blue text, as well as any link icon displayed in the report.Blue Text
- Select aPartially Signedstatus.
- ReviewE-Sign Details, including who has and hasn’t signed.
- Select aDownloadedstatus.
- Review the firm's e-file formDownload History.
Link Icon
A list of Names, Client IDs, and Email Addresses associated with this return are available in the Client Portal. This option also displays items outside of returns, like Returns or Organizers.
- Select theLinkicon for the client's name.
- ReviewConnections.
