Configure custom questions

You can create multiple questionnaires for different client types in this section. Use these questions instead of or in addition to the questionnaire provided by your tax application.
note
  • Only system administrators can access the
    Settings
    section.
  • You can add a maximum of 200 questions and 200 sections.
  • You can create a maximum of 12 templates in total.

From this page, you can edit an existing questionnaire or create a new template from scratch.
Select the
More
menu to view options for an existing template:
  • Select
    Edit
    to open the questionnaire template.
  • Select
    Rename
    to change the template name that appears to internal users.
  • Duplicate
    to create a new questionnaire based on the existing template.
  • Select
    Delete
    to delete the existing template.
Select the star icon to set a template as the default. The program applies this template automatically during processing.

Choose from the following question types to build a detailed and unique questionnaire:
Add yes/no questions

Add paragraph questions
:
Paragraph questions let the client enter free-form text to answer a question.

  2. Enter text for the multiple-choice answers.
