Unable to Add Outlook Add-in

Why add-ins can't be managed
A Microsoft Exchange account is required to get add-ins. If you use a Gmail or another non-Exchange account type in Outlook, the
Get Add-ins
button is grayed out.Some terminal server versions of Outlook don’t support add-ins. If the

Some versions of Outlook are not compatible with the Exchange add-in. To resolve the issue, update Outlook to a supported version or use the online portal.
Outlook 2013 is not compatible with the add-in. Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019 may or may not be compatible, depending on the license type.
- Volume-licensed Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019 versions are not compatible with Exchange. These versions use Internet Explorer for Office on the web, and the Exchange add-in is web-based.
- Retail Outlook 2016 and Outlook 2019 versions use Edge instead of Internet Explorer and can run the add-in.
