IP restriction

Restrict SafeSend sign-in access to approved IP addresses or VPN channels for added security and controlled user access.
A System Admin enables IP restriction to limit a SafeSend user's access to select computers. This security measure ensures that users can only sign in from specific computers or, if using a VPN, through specified access channels.

Before changing your ISP or router, turn off IP Filtering, then re-enable it with the new IP addresses.
  1. Select the
    Navigation Widget
    .
  2. Select
    Product Settings
    .
  3. Select
    Security
    .
  4. Select the
    Enable IP Filtering
    switch.
  5. Add allowed addresses to the
    IP Address List
    by filling the
    Name
    ,
    From
    , and
    To
    IP address fields.
    note
    If you are not using a VPN, the
    From
    and
    To
    fields are the same.
  6. Select
    Save
    .
    note
    The
    Client IP Address
    is your current IP.
    • This IP will be automatically added to the list.
    • You need to enter a name for your IP.
