Clear your browser cache
SafeSend operates within a web browser on both the user and taxpayer side. Keeping your browser clean and up to date is best practice.
If you are experiencing loading issues, display issues, or undefined errors, clearing your browser cache generally resolves this. Make sure you are also using a modern, up-to-date browser.
Desktop browsers
Chrome
- Select the three-dot menu at the upper right of Chrome.
- SelectDelete browsing data.
- SelectCookies and other site dataandCached images and files.
- MarkAll timefrom theTime rangedrop-down menu.
- SelectDelete Data.
- Close all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Firefox
- SelectClear Recent Historyfrom theHistorymenu.
- PressAltto make the menu bar visible if it is hidden.
- From theTime range to cleardrop-down menu, selectEverything.
- Select thedown arrownext toDetailsto select onlyCookies and site dataandTemporary cached files.
- SelectClear.
- Close all browser windows and re-open the browser.
Edge

Microsoft® Edge Legacy support ended on March 9, 2021. If you still have Edge Legacy, UITS recommends installing the new Chromium-based Microsoft® Edge by running Windows Update.

- SelectCached images and files, and ensure no other checkboxes are checked.
- SelectClear now.
- Close all browser windows and re-open the browser.
