Quicktools disappear when Adobe Acrobat DC closes

The following applies to TicTie Calculate version 5.x and 6.x. Refer to the Check your version of TicTie Calculate article for more information.

Scenario

In Adobe Acrobat DC, if you add things to your
Quicktools
toolbar, then hide the side panel before you close Adobe, the next time you open it the Quicktools will disappear.

Solution

  1. Select the carrot on the side panel to un-hide it.
  2. Select
    Tic Tie & Calculate
     on the side panel.
  3. Keep the sidebar open when you close Adobe. After you re-open Adobe the
    Quicktools
    will be on the panel.
To make sure this doesn't happen:
  1. Right-click the toolbar and select
    Customize Quick Tools
     to add any
    Quicktools
    .
  2. Keep the side panel open when you close Adobe.
