Bookmark and repagination
This feature lets you add bookmarks to a PDF, then repaginate the document to re-order the pages to match the bookmark tree.
- Open the TicTie CalculateToolsin Adobe Acrobat.
- Select theBookmarkstool.
- SelectUse Bookmark Template.tipYou may want to move theSet Bookmark Templatewindow to another monitor to easily find the PDF pages displayed in Adobe.
- Turn on theBookmarks Paneto open or close theBookmarkspanel in Adobe Acrobat.
- Select theZoomdropdown to determine how the page will display when you use the bookmark.
- SelectNext Pageto view the next page of the PDF.
- SelectPrevious Pageto view the previous page of the PDF.
- SelectBuild Your Own Bookmark Templateto be directed to your online portal, where you can create and edit bookmark templates.noteFor TicTie Calculate version 6, only TicTie Calculate managers and system administrators have access to this dashboard.
- SelectDelete All Bookmarksto remove all existing bookmarks in Adobe Acrobat.
- SelectYesto make sure that you would like all existing bookmarks deleted.
- To begin bookmarking, select aBookmark Templatefrom the dropdown. This list contains default templates, as well as any custom templates you have created.
- SelectApplyto begin using the selected template.
- Select the arrow for a section title to expand it. Expand it again to find the child bookmark.
- Enter a<description>to add a custom nested bookmark name for the selected page.
- Enter the bookmark name in theBookmark Textfield.
- SelectSet Bookmarkto apply the selected bookmark to the page of the PDF displayed in Adobe. You can find the bookmark tree in Adobe update in real time.
- Once you bookmark all the pages, selectClose.
- SelectRepaginateto reorder the pages of the PDF to match the bookmark tree.
- SelectYesto make sure you would like to reorder the PDF.
- After repagination, bookmarks and pages can be moved manually in Adobe Acrobat, or you can use theBookmark and Repaginatefeatures again.
