Preferences

TicTie Calculate preferences let you customize or change default settings for tickmarks, cross-references, and the calculator.

The following applies to TicTie Calculate version 5.x and 6.x. Refer to the Check your version of TicTie Calculate article for more information.

Tickmark Preferences

  1. In Adobe select
    Menu
    Plugins
    TicTie Calculate
    Preferences
     .
  2. Select the
    Tickmarks
    tab, then select the
    Symbol, Number
    ,
    Letter
    , and
    Defaults
    .
  3. Select the default
    Color
    and
    Size
    .
  4. Select
    Auto-Increment
    to decide if you want the numbers and letters to automatically change as you stamp. The numbers and letters change in ascending order.
  5. Select the
    Last Used
    checkbox to remember the last tickmark used. For example, when you select the
    Symbols
    ,
    Numbers
    , or
    Letters
    , the most recently used tickmark is automatically selected.

Cross-Reference Preferences

  1. In the
    Preferences
    window, select the
    Cross References
    tab.
  2. Select the
    Cross References Defaults
    .
  3. Select the default
    Color
    and
    Size
    .
  4. Select
    Auto-Increment
    if you want the cross-references to change automatically as you add them. The cross-references change in ascending order.
  5. Select the
    Last Used
    checkbox to remember the last cross-reference used. When you select
    Cross-reference
    , the most recently used cross-reference is automatically selected.
  6. Select the
    Zoom Type
    of your links. When you select the link, the page displays the selected zoom type.

Calculator preferences

  1. In the
    Preferences
    dialogue, select the
    Calculator
    tab.
  2. Select the
    Calculator Defaults
    , and
    Inserted Tape
    options.
    1. Calculator Defaults
      changes the default settings selected when the calculator is launched.
    2. Color
      changes the background color of the printed tape.
    3. Font Size
      changes the font size of the text in the printed tape.
    4. Narrow
      prints the tape in a narrow box.
  3. Select the
    Add Author and Date
    and the
    Add Column Separators
    options

Audit logs

Select the
Audit Logs
tab to turn on or turn off the
Audit Log
feature.
