Duplicate return notifications

When uploading a return, you may receive a duplicate return notification if the system detects that the return has already been delivered.
The duplicate return notification states: "We have detected that this return has already been delivered. Please review the Delivered Returns or Archived Returns reports to ensure you are not delivering a duplicate tax return." We recommend checking the Delivered/Archived returns section and the Recycled Bin to verify the return hasn’t already been delivered.
You can still deliver the return even if the system marks it as a duplicate.
The duplicate return notification and status alert you that the system has recognized the return as potentially delivered before.

If the return has been delivered and requires changes, we recommend recalling and reprocessing it.
