Update the Disclosure Checklist

Periodically you should check for an updated version of the PPC-provided disclosure checklists.
To update a checklist:
  1. Click the
    Update Disclosure Checklist
    button at the bottom of the checklist pane.
  2. In the
    Check for Updates
    window, select the
    Check for more current disclosure checklists
    option.
  3. Click
    Next
    . If any updated versions are found, they will be displayed. You can then update the checklist requirements to reflect the new version as necessary.

    To ensure you are considering all disclosure requirements, use the second option on the
    Check for Updates
    window to review (1) a list of the latest pronouncements considered in your current checklist and (2) a list of authoritative pronouncements that may have been issued subsequent to the release of the current checklist. Disclosure requirements dictated by any subsequently issued pronouncements should be manually added to the checklist.
