Update Checkpoint account number manually

If you receive the error message “You have entered an invalid checkpoint user name or email password,” follow these steps to update your account number.
Before you begin
Make sure you have your Checkpoint account number available.
  1. Open File Explorer and go to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\PPC\PPCWebMultiSelectInstaller
    .
  2. Locate the
    AccountNum
    File and copy it to your desktop.
  3. Open the desktop copy of the
    AccountNum
    file and select
    Open with
    Notepad
    .
  4. Add your account number between the tags using this format:
    <CheckPointID>xxxxxxx</CheckPointID>
    . Replace
    xxxxxxx
    with your actual account number.
  5. Save the file and close Notepad.
  6. Copy the modified
    AccountNum
    file back to:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\PPC\PPCWebMultiSelectInstaller
    .
  7. Select
    Replace
    when prompted.
  8. Run the setup file again to continue with the application and framework installation.
