Linking to Engagement Manager Workpaper

In SMART, you have the ability to link to an
Engagement Manager Workpaper
 in a SMART Practice Aids planning form or audit program step.
Open a client engagement
  1. Right-click in a Planning Form entry field and select
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     from the right click menu.
  2. Click
    Add WP Ref
    The
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     window is displayed.
  3. Expand and select the desired
    Engagement Manager Workpaper
     and click
    Select
    .
  4. Click the workpaper reference link to open the workpaper in Engagement Manager.
  5. This opens a read only workpaper in Engagement Manager. Edit the workpaper by opening it from Engagement Manager in edit mode.
  6. Click the pencil icon to open the
    Edit Text
     window.

Open a client engagement
  1. From an audit program, right-click in the
    Workpaper Index
     column and select
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     from the right click menu. The
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     window is displayed.
  2. Expand and select the desired
    Engagement Manager Workpaper
     and click
    Select
    .
  3. Click the workpaper reference link
    once
    , to open the read only workpaper in Engagement Manager. Edit the workpaper by opening it from Engagement Manager in edit mode.
