Linking to Workpapers CS Workpaper

In SMART, you have the ability to link to a
Workpaper CS Workpaper
 in a SMART Practice Aids planning form or audit program step.
Open a client engagement
  1. Right-click in a Planning Form entry field and select
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     from the right click menu.
  2. Click Add WP Ref. The
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     window is displayed.
  3. Expand and select the desired
    Workpaper CS Workpaper
     and click
    Select
    .
    Select highlighted in the Insert Workpaper Reference dialog
  4. Click the workpaper reference link to open the workpaper in Workpaper CS.

  5. This opens a read only workpaper in Workpaper CS. Edit the workpaper by opening it from Workpaper CS in edit mode.

  6. Click the pencil icon to open the
    Edit Text
     window.

Open a client engagement
  1. From an audit program, right-click in the
    Workpaper Index
     column and select
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     from the right click menu. The
    Insert Workpaper Reference
     window is displayed.
  2. Expand and select the desired
    Workpaper CS Workpaper
     and click
    Select
    .
    select button highlighted in the insert workpaper reference window
  3. Click the workpaper reference link
    once
    , to open the read only workpaper in Workpaper CS. Edit the workpaper by opening it from Workpaper CS in edit mode.
