Complete audit programs

Insert a workpaper reference, insert a memo reference, add a link to another document when you complete a program audit.
There are several additional steps you can take when completing your audit program including inserting a workpaper reference, inserting a memo reference, add a link to another document, and modifying sign-off properties.
Sign off steps as they are completed by right-clicking the step and selecting
Step Sign-off
. Select the yellow comment icon (PO NOTE: Get icon) to a step to add comments.

Insert Workpaper Reference

  1. Right-click an existing workpaper in the Workpaper Index column and select
    Insert Workpaper Reference
    from the pop-up menu.
  2. On the
    Insert Workpaper Reference
    window, you can select the plus sign to expand a category.
  3. Choose a workpaper, then
    Select
    .
The additional workpaper will be available in the program.

Insert Memo Reference

  1. Right-click and select
    Insert Memo Reference
    from the pop-up menu.
  2. Enter your memo information and select
    OK
    .
Your memo appears below the related workpaper link.
  1. Right-click an existing workpaper in the Workpaper Index column and select
    Insert WP Ref
    . You can also select Insert followed by Add Document.
  2. Choose a document type, such as a PPC form.
  3. On the Add PPC Forms window, choose a form and enter the number of copies you need.
  4. Select
    Next
    and your selected PPC workpaper is added to
    Workpaper properties
    .
  5. Select
    Finish
    .

Sign-Off Properties

For sign-off, you can determine what displays in the Performed by and Date column: initials, date format, and the date you want to display.
Select
Sign-off Properties
from the Tools menu.
Make your changes on the Sign-off Properties window and select
OK
.
note
If you select Yes to use engagement management software, you will be able to add only SMART-enabled documents. (SMART- enabled documents are PPC forms that open in the center pane.)
