Internal: Clear SMART Practice Aids lock in VO/SAAS

Do the following to clear a SMART Practice Aids Lock in VO/SaaS:
  1. Go to
    Y:\SmartPracticeAids
    and open the
    PPCVONet.config
    file.
  2. Search
    Value=
    and get the value that's between the quotation marks.
  3. G to PROD - VOData Locations to get the
    DB_Name
    for the ETLSPA line item, which is usually
    ETLSPA_FirmID
    .
  4. Go back to Session Desktop and go to
    X:\Practitioners Publishing\SPADMV
    .
  5. Run the
    SPADMV.EXE
    executable.
  6. You'll get an alert that says the following:
    The configured database ELTSPA on local/###### does not exist. Would you like to try a different database? Click Yes to try again or click No to close the application.
    Select
    Yes
    .
  7. In the
    Manage Database Server List
    window, enter
    value\ELTSPA
    , for example
    eus2sqppc322p.\PPC\ELTSPA_798046
    .
  8. Select
    Add
    then
    OK
    .
  9. The
    PPC Data Management Viewer
    window will open. Select the
    Locks
    tab, then go to the lock you need to clear.
  10. Right click the lock then select
    Delete Selected Lock
    .
