Edit a form with Multi-User

When you first try to enter or edit information on a form with Multi-User turned on, you will receive a prompt that asks "Would you like to Edit this form?"
Select
Yes
to place a lock on the form. No other users are able to edit the form until you release the lock.
note
You can bypass the "Would you like to Edit this form?" prompt by right-clicking the data entry screen and selecting
Edit Form
from the shortcut menu. Selecting
Edit Form
places a lock on the form. No other users are able to edit the form until you release the lock.
You can save your work at any time by selecting
Save
or
Save As
from the File menu (or by selecting
Save
in the toolbar). This will update your copy of the engagement with changes from all other users in your multi-user environment. If you attempt to open another form without first saving, you will receive a prompt to
Save Now
or
Save Later
.
