Turn on Multi-User for engagements
You can allow multiple users in SMART Single Audit to work on the engagement at the same time with Multi-User. All other users who have access to the engagement will only be able to open the engagement in read-only mode.
To turn on Multi-User:
- SelectFile, thenOpen(or click theOpenbutton on the tool bar).The Open Client Engagement window appears.
- MarkAllow multi-user for this engagement. This option allows multiple users to edit parts of the engagement at the same time.
- noteIf an engagement is already in use with theDo not allow multi-user for this engagementcheck box selected, a lock symbol appears next to the engagement. If you attempt to open a locked engagement, a message informs you that you can only open the engagement as read-only.
- MarkDo not allow multi-user for this engagementto restrict all other users to read-only access. TheDo not allow multi-user for this engagementcheckbox is the default selection.
