Overview
note
If you update your template from version 12 or before, this template release contains the latest 2022 taxonomy (nbb-cbso-22.19.3).This taxonomy is completely different from previous taxonomies because it’s based on table linkbases. You'll need to revert to template for the new changes. The NBB currently offer a conversion tool where you can upload an XBRL file based on the 2021 taxonomy and convert to the 2022 taxonomy. Due to changes made by the NBB, the company registration number must only contain numbers. You'll need to remove the letters in front of the registration number (BE).
Belgian template taxonomy information for self-hosted customers
For version 14 and above of the template, you'll need to add 2 taxonomy files from the folder nbb-cbso-22.19.3. Companies with capital will need
m02-f.xsd
, and companies without capital will need
m82-f.xsd
. Capital/without capital disclosures in the report are controlled by the checkbox on the
General
tab.
The path to the files in the zipped folder is:
nbb-cbso-22.19.3\www.nbb.be\be\fr\cbso\fws\22.19\mod\m02nbb-cbso-22.19.3\www.nbb.be\be\fr\cbso\fws\22.19\mod\m82
The best place to put the files is with your other taxonomy files. This is usually in
Program Files (x86), Thomson Reuters, ONESOURCE Accounts Production, Templates, XBRL, Taxonomies
. Once you've installed the taxonomy files, you'll need to take the following steps:
  1. Go to
    ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting
    ,
    Tools
    ,
    Manage XBRL Taxonomies
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Add the name.
  4. Use the ellipsis button to map the location of the taxonomy file.
When you open the template, it should now be tagged correctly.
note
  • The template is only available on 6.31.
  • Clients need to revert to the template or regenerate the report due to the entire report containing tags from the new taxonomy (from version 12.0).
The layout of the Belgium template is very fixed, so we don't expect many customisations. However, to take the taxonomy, you'll need to revert to template if there are customizations.
