2502039 | Added "column width variable" at the top folder level of the Primary Statement. | The client service team requested the addition of a variable to adjust column width in the Luxembourg template's Primary Statements, similar to the one in non-standard tables in Notes. After thorough discussion and investigation, the team verified the addition of the "ValueColumnWidth" variable at the top folder level of the Primary Statements, such as the Abridged Balance Sheet folder. You can right-click on the top folder, go to the Variables tab, and adjust the column width to fit the column figures. |

2489117 | Moved the legacy categories (PL.INCO.EXT and PL.CHAR.EXT) that weren't under the NLUC21 folder and deleted the NLUC.FY21 folder. | We found that the PL.INCO.EXT and PL.CHAR.EXT accounts weren't under the NLUC.FY21 folder. We moved them to this folder in the version 19 release. While we removed these accounts from the NLUC.FY21 folder, we scheduled this folder for deletion as mentioned in the version 14 release note from 05.2022 (YE 2021). Since it has been 3 years, we removed the folder and the 2 legacy accounts in this release. To provide further support and context, we mentioned the expected deletion in the Feature section of the version 16 release note. The system marked the account numbers for these legacy accounts in red in their TBs and Mappings for your reference. We anticipated the impacts from this removal for the outdated accounts and folder, and past release notes mentioned their expected deletion. Retain any existing data related to them to prevent data loss before upgrading to this release. |
Known issues
- The upgraded OAP file to 6.29.9459 is available in this release pack. However, if you want to update to the 6.29 platform, there is a known issue where elements set toNevermay still appear in the report.
- Regarding Correction ID: 1985854 - Ensure non-zero values apply to all sections and columns. When there's only 1 section to sum up in the table, Total Rows set toAs RequiredorNon-zerowon't display. This is a known platform issue. If you want to display the Total Rows in this case, change the display setting toAlways.
- Correction ID: 1995005 - The grid column heading can contain up to 60 characters due to a platform limitation. For any text that gets cut, the system manually adds the text at the end of the table to ensure the columns still show correctly and match the publication. The affected areas with the current Note publication include:
- Note 4 – Intangible assets → Historical cost model
- Note 5 – Tangible assets → Land and buildings following the historical cost model
- Note 15 – Derivative financial instruments → a) Foreign exchange contracts
- Note 15 – Derivative financial instruments → b) Interest rate swaps
- Note 15 – Derivative financial instruments → c) Option contracts
Additional information
Deleting original elements
Exercise caution when deleting original elements like paragraphs and tables from the parent/root template. Don't change existing column IDs. Deleting original elements prevents restoration except through backup files. This action loses element updates and prevents perfect template syncing with the latest draft update.
Deleting original elements changes their IDs, making functions like Revert to Template or Compare with Template not available. Remember this, especially when customizing. If you don't need certain parts of the original elements, create a copy for customizations. Set unwanted original elements to "Never" instead of deleting them.
Changing column names
When changing column names in grids, use the Column Rename feature. Don't change the existing column IDs. Changing IDs will cause you to lose your current data and its associated links.
Feature list 2330216
We’ll remove some sub-NLUC folders in 2-3 years. For example, we'll remove the FY21 subfolder when preparing the 2023 or 2024 release. We'll notify you of these changes in advance through the release notes.
Export to Excel feature
note
We logged this feature in version 11 or 12 release of LU.CTY.
The following explanation comes from the Additional Information section of the version 11 or 12 release note:
To export
Annual Accounts
and Trial Balance per Entity (including Account Assignment)
reports to Excel, change the currency sign from "EUR" to "€" in 3 areas:- Go to theToolstab, thenNumber, Date and Culture Format.
- Change theCurrency Symbol.

- Go to[FY] Reporting,Settings,Text,Variables, then theGeneraltab.
- Change theFunctionalCurrency.

- Go toReport,[Annual Accounts],Report Optionstab, thenEdit Report Currency.
- Change theCurrency Symbol.

note
We added the
Trial Balance per Entity (Including Account Assignment)
report in version 13 of LU.CTY.Important:
- This change is optional for those who need to export these reports to Excel.
- The draft template retains the original default setting with "EUR" as the currency sign.
- After making these changes, you may see a "Worksheet Setting error" when exporting. SelectOKto proceed. The Excel report will still generate (some headers may appear incorrectly).

- The platform team acknowledges this error. It shouldn't block template releases, as it's consistent with the application's behavior.
