Features
Item ID | Title | Details and limitations |
|---|---|---|
5131549 | Inclusion of the report "Analytical Report (Primary Statement with VAR columns)" | A new Analytical Report (Primary Statements with VAR Columns) has been added to the template report list.
This report is based on the existing Annual Report but has been simplified to include only the primary financial statements: Balance sheet, Profit and loss account, Abridged balance sheet, and Abridged profit and loss account. The purpose of the report is to help users review year-on-year movements more easily by adding YOY VAR and VAR % columns directly into the statements. These variance columns show both the absolute movement and percentage change between the current and prior period, reducing the need for manual calculations.Materiality guidance has also been added to support commentary on significant movements. This can be found at the bottom of each statement, and the figure can be adjusted at the folder level variable. This update enables users to perform analytical reviews more efficiently and identify key financial movements more clearly. |
5324634 | Apply double underline to TS | Columns | Column 2 and 3 | Double underline styling has been applied to TS | Columns | Column 2 and TS | Columns | Column 3 to align with the existing styling used in TS | Columns | Column 1 . This update has been made in both the Annual Accounts and the Analytical Report (Primary Statement with VAR columns) , ensuring consistent presentation across the relevant TS columns. |

Item ID | Details and limitations |
|---|---|
1 | Upgraded OAP file to 6.29.9459 is available in this release pack. However, for users wishing to update to the 6.29 platform, please note that there is a known issue where even when elements are displayed as "Never", the report will still display the element. |
2 | Related to the Correction ID: 1985854 – Ensure non-zero values apply to all sections and columns.
When there is only one section to sum up as a total in the table, the Total Rows that have been "As Required" or "Non-zero" display will not show up. This is currently a known platform issue, and if users want to display the Total Rows on the above occasion, they need to change its display setting to "Always". |
1995005 | Number of character limit in grid column heading.
The column in the grid only can contain up to 60 words and this is known as a platform limitation. Therefore, for those cut-out texts have been typed in manually at the table end, so that those long columns still can be showing and matching with the publication. The affected areas with the current Note publication are as follows: |
Additional information
Item ID | Details and limitations |
|---|---|
1 | As noted in Feature 3043291, any legacy content arising from annual updates or alignment work will be labeled "Deprecated: 20XX Details" and left in its original location. Legacy content previously moved to the bottom of its section will remain as is. This approach applies going forward. |
2 | Please be noted that deleting the original elements (such as paragraphs, tables, and so on) which have been reflected from the parent/root template should be cautious. The same logic applies here for not changing existing column IDs as below. If the original elements have been deleted, we cannot save it back other than re-implementing it with the backup files. It will also lose any updates that will be made to the elements, i.e., the template will not get upgraded and synced perfectly with the latest draft template update, and some functions, such as Revert to Template or Compare with Template , will not be available either – this is because once the original element is deleted, their own IDs become different from the draft/parent template, so they cannot be compared.
Therefore, please keep this in mind, especially when customization needs to be done. Alternatively, if users do not want some part of the original elements, they can create a copy of it and build their customization from there and display the unwanted original element to be Never, instead of deleting it. |
3 | For users' further references, please be noted that when you wish to change the naming of columns in grids, it can be done via feature. However, please do not change their existing IDs, otherwise, you will lose your current data and linking to it. |
4 | Reference to the above feature list "2330216", please be noted that some of the sub-NLUC folders will be removed in around 2-3 years' time, e.g., the FY21 sub-folder will be removed when preparing 2023 or 2024 release, and this will be notified in the release note in advance. |
5 | Export to Excel function (Please be noted that this has been logged in the last release in version 11 or version 12 of LU.CTY). Also, the following explanation is extracted from the Additional Information section of the version 11 or version 12 release note.
Exporting to "Annual Accounts" and "Trial Balance per Entity (Including Account Assignment)" reports to Excel will NOT work unless the Currency sign is changed from wording "EUR" to its currency symbol of "€" in the following 3 areas. (Note: "Trial Balance per Entity (Including Account Assignment)" report is newly added in the version 13 release of the LU.CTY)
Please be noted that this is optional for whoever wants or needs to export the "Annual Accounts" and "Trial Balance per Entity (Including Account Assignment)" reports to Excel, which means that the draft template has kept the original default setting, containing "EUR" wording as a currency sign, and hence, NO changes have been made to the above 3 areas. Coming back to the comment on this Export to Excel for this release, after making the above change and while exporting the Annual Accounts report, there may be an error message, saying "Worksheet Setting error". This error has been known and acknowledged by the platform team. When users encounter this error, they can still select OK to proceed further as it will still produce the Excel report (there can be some headers not appearing correctly). However, according to the platform team, this is how the application has been behaving throughout and it should not be a blocker for releasing the template. |
6 | For users' further references, please be noted that when you wish to change the naming of columns in grids, it can be done via feature. However, please do not change their existing IDs, otherwise, you will lose your current data and linking to it. |
