We updated the template with the new XML schemas (version 1.3) for the preparation and filing accounts for periods beginning on or after January 1, 2024.

There is an issue with attaching PDF files to XML reports in the

 section. To access the PDF, save it to the
Citrix Z
drive first. When using the
Insert Attachment File
 dialog, make sure to select PDF as the file type; otherwise, you won't see the file you want to attach.

In version 5 (U.S.: 1792594) of the template, some grid expressions were corrected because they were wrong. However, when upgrading to version 6, the old expressions remain due to a platform bug. This bug prevents the removal of outdated expressions inherited from the parent template during the upgrade process.

When exporting paragraphs with tags in XML format, there is a character limit issue if multiple tags are used. A workaround is needed to address this problem.

There's a problem with the table style for zero values on the desktop version. Instead of using a comma (0,00) as the decimal separator, it incorrectly shows a dot (0.00). This issue only affects the desktop version.

To file financial statements with the Polish Ministry, you must export them in the
XML format
. Only the report titled
1. e-Sprawozdanie Finansowe - XML Raport
 can be exported as XML, and only XML files can be audited.
For the notes to the financial statements, use the 2nd report,
2. Sprawozdanie Finansowe
, save it as a PDF, and attach it to the last section of the 1st report. Make sure the PDF file name has no spaces to avoid errors when attaching.

Once you've added the attachment, you need to tag it twice: first for the tag name and then for the content.

Instruction on adding new XML schema (1.3):
  1. Open the release pack for the
    PL Corporate Template (Yellow - 02.2025) (P 6.30.9574 C 15.0)
  2. Find the
    Schema [XML]
     folder.
  3. Copy the files
    JednostkaInnaStrukturyDanychSprFin_v1-3.xsd
     and
    JednostkaInnaWZlotych(1)_v1-3.xsd
    .
  4. Paste them into the
    XML Taxonomies
     folder.

    By default, this folder is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Thomson Reuters\ONESOURCE Accounts Production\Templates\XML\Taxonomies, but it may be different if you installed ONESOURCE Accounts Production elsewhere.
  5. Amend the file
    XmlFiling.dll.config
    , this can be found by default within C:\Program Files (x86)\Thomson Reuters\ONESOURCE Accounts Production. However, this will differ depending on where you have installed ONESOURCE Accounts Production.
  6. Add in the following in between <xmlTaxonomies> and </xmlTaxonomies>: 
    <add namespaceUri="http://www.mf.gov.pl/schematy/SF/DefinicjeTypySprawozdaniaFinansowe/2025/01/01/JednostkaInnaWZlotych" url="JednostkaInnaWZlotych(1)_v1-3.xsd" version="1.3" schemaRef="https://www.gov.pl/static/finanse/SF/DefinicjeTypySprawozdaniaFinansowe/2024/10/24/JednostkaInnaWZlotych(1)_v1-3.xsd" description="Jednostka Inna" />
  7. Save the file, ensuring it remains a
    .config
     file. Some applications such as Notepad will try to convert it to a
    .txt
     file.

  1. Open the release pack for the
    PL Corporate Template (Yellow - 02.2025) (P 6.30.9574 C 15.0)
    .
  2. Find the
    Schema [XML]
     folder.
  3. Copy the file
    JednostkaInnaWTysiacach(1)_v1-3.xsd
    .
  4. Paste it into the
    XML Taxonomies
     folder. The default location for this folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Thomson Reuters\ONESOURCE Accounts Production\Templates\XML\Taxonomies, but it may vary based on where you installed ONESOURCE Accounts Production.
  5. Edit the file
    XmlFiling.dll.config.
     By default, you can find it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Thomson Reuters\ONESOURCE Accounts Production. The location might be different if you installed ONESOURCE Accounts Production elsewhere.
  6. Add in the following in between <xmlTaxonomies> and </xmlTaxonomies>:

    • Tick the checkbox DisplayPrimaryStatementRounded within the Spółka | Informacje ogólne:
    • Set rounding and scaling to 1000 within Raport | Ustawienia | Podstawowe | Zaokrąglanie | Skalowanie.

Clients will need to add the new schemas.
