Override a currency rate

You can override a currency conversion rate by following these steps:
  1. Open a Journal.
  2. Type a new rate directly in the
    Rate
     field.
  3. Select
    Save Changes
    .
    The account displays the new rate in bold italics.
  4. Exit out of the journal.
    note
    You can't revert to the original journal if you complete an override in this manner. Rate changes made in Currency Conversion won't flow to this account because of the override. You must delete the journal and add a new one to revert to the original conversion.
