Delete and restore entities and periods

Delete entities and periods

  1. Expand the reporting entity and select the checkbox for the financial period to delete it.
    note
    You can delete only the latest financial period, not any previous ones. The table header automatically enables
    Delete
    when you select the financial period.
  2. Select
    Delete
    to proceed.
  3. Review the details on the
    Delete
    window, enter the end date, then select
    Delete
    .
  4. Select the reporting entity and then select
    Delete
    to delete a reporting entity.
  5. Enter the reporting entity code in the reporting entity window, then select
    Delete
    .
    note
    Deleting a reporting entity automatically deletes all the financial periods under it.

Restore entities and periods

To restore a deleted financial period:
  1. Go to
    Tools
    Deleted Records
    .
  2. Select the financial period you want to restore.
    note
    Restore
    automatically enables on the table header when you select the financial period.
  3. Select
    Restore
    . You have restored the selected financial period.
    To restore a deleted reporting entity:
  4. Select the reporting entity and select
    Restore
    .
  5. You have restored the selected reporting entity and all its financial periods.

Permanently delete a reporting entity or financial period

  1. Go to
    Tools
    Deleted Records
    to delete permanently a reporting entity or financial period.
  2. Select the reporting entity or financial period you want to delete permanently.
  3. Enter the reporting entity code or the end date for a financial period, then select
    Delete
    . The selected reporting entity or financial period is now permanently deleted.
    note
    The reporting entity or financial period can't be viewed or restored once deleted.
