Entity Structure workflow

The Entity Structure workflow allows you to add, edit, and delete entity groups and entities.

The options available for the Entity Structure workflow is dependent on the template selected.
The Entity Structure workflow enables you to perform the following:
  • Add new entity or entity group
  • Edit entity or entity group
  • Delete entity or entity group

Add entity or entity group

  1. Access the Reporting Entity you want to work with and open a financial period.
  2. Go to
    Period Setup
    ,
    Entity Structure
    .
  3. Select
    Add
    , and then
    Entity
     or
    Entity Group
    .
  4. Enter the following:
    1. Name
    2. Code - Unique entity code used as an identifier.
    3. Entity Type
    4. Report As - Select whether the entity should be included in a report as a Parent entity or Consolidated entity.
    5. Currency
    6. Conversion Account
    7. Round Independently - Select this option to round values independently of other entity; you can also round entity groups independently.
  5. Lastly, select
    Add
