Description of change: A new disclosure tab has been added to accommodate a mandatory footnote for consolidated entities, requiring them to disclose non-controlling interest amounts even when these amounts are zero.

Update South African (ZA) taxonomy in OSR
Add ZA latest taxonomy to NextGen. At the moment it is still not finalized and appears in the public consultation folder. I will update this ticket as soon the latest version becomes available. The update should be performed by the time we perform the web test just before our release is due on 28th of February 2026.

Type of column has changed from percentage to number. Please make sure before the version update (from v16 to v17) that column values before the update don’t contain decimal values. It is likely that values from the columns will disappear and users have to add back prior period values.

Before it was free text. If customer used a non-standard (standard meaning ISO) naming for countries that will not match one of our list item it will disappear and has to be readded using the drop down list.

Disclosures>Liabilities>Borrowings>Borrowings by currency. Section and Row Ref. values were added in new version and they might not go over in the update in which case they manually be added. All sections have the value of ‘1-ANALYSIS BY CURRENCY’ and rows are Row1, Row2, Row3 etc. You can see the desired end result in the template itself.

Disclosures>Liabilities>Liabilities arising from financing activities>Liabilities from financing activities>Prior period. Values need to be readded from prior period as this grid control was recreated from scratch. The prior period values should be checked and a note taken of them before updating to v17 because the tab and grid control will be rendered hidden after the update. Alternatively, Support could change the visibility of the original grid control in its original location, which is Disclosures>Assets>Cash and cash equivalents>Cash and non-cash changes in liabilities

After exporting the file to XHTML with embedded iXBRL (desktop) or Inline Xbrl (web), please manually amend the file extension to .xhtml before filing with the CIPC

Additional Information

  • Within your version of 6.32, go to Templates\XBRL\Schemas\ www.xbrl.org and create a folder called 2020 if it doesn't exist
  • Add into the 2020 folder the attached extensible-enumerations-2.0.xsd file (find it inserted in point 2)
  • Edit the xbrl-schemas-catalog.xml in your 6.32 version folder Templates\XBRL\Schemas
  • Add these 2 lines before the closing </catalog> line:
