SET data for transaction rules and errors
Transaction rules
- Dates- Excel fields with a date value is in the mm/dd/yyyy format. Set the same format to push information back to ONESOURCE Statutory Reporting.
- Expressions- Excel doesn't update cells containing expressions, neither their values nor the expressions themselves.
- Predefined lists or dropdown columns- The set data transaction validates dropdown options in Excel to ensure data integrity when updating the new value, even though the options themselves aren't visible.
- Negative numbers- Negative must be marked by - sign.
- Structural changes- Workpapers Add-in doesn't support structural changes, such as adding tables or columns.
Alerts and messages

ERROR: Incomplete input range. | Table structure (number of columns and/or rows) mismatch between Excel and Statutory Reporting. | Make sure the SET formula in the Excel input range includes the entire table, including headers and blank rows. |
New rows were added to table: <<Table Label>> | The system correctly added new rows to the table. | |
New rows weren't added since table isn't allowed to modify rows. | The table configuration doesn't allow adding new rows, so the sent rows weren't added. | |
