Activate Review Wizard on Web

Users can set Review Wizard on Web as your firm's default Review Wizard experience. With Review Wizard on Web set as your default, your browser will know launch any In Verification binder in a new browser tab, allowing you to proceed with the verification process on any operating system with no additional software installation needed.

Make Review Wizard on Web your firm's default

Follow these steps to set Review Wizard on Web as your firm's default:
  1. Open the
    ACCOUNT SETUP
    section in
    Account Admin
    .
  2. Once in
    ACCOUNT SETUP
    , select
    1040Scan Default Version
    .
    note
    Only users with the
    Account Setup
    permission will have access to the
    1040Scan Default Version
    tab.
  3. Select the
    1040Scan Desktop (or) 1040Scan Web
    option to set Review Wizard on Web as your firm-wide default.

Make Review Wizard on Web your personal default

Having the
1040Scan Desktop (or) 1040Scan Web
option in
Account Admin
will enable this feature for users across your entire domain. If you'd prefer only some users in your domain use Review Wizard from Web, they can do so from within FileRoom.
  1. Find the binder you'd like to verify within FileRoom, then point to the
    OPTIONS
    column.
    Select Open dropdown menu
  2. Expand the dropdown menu from
    Open
    and select
    1040SCAN Web
    to open the binder in Review Wizard in your browser. Moving forward, each
    In Verification
    binder you open using
    Open
    will be opened within your browser
    Select your Personal Default method

Allow local network access on your browser

When launching Review Wizard on Web for the first time you must configure your browser permissions to allow
rw.sureprep.com
to connect to your local network.
Upon first launch, your browser will prompt you to allow
rw.sureprep.com
to look for and connect to any device on your local network. Select
Allow
to proceed with using Review Wizard on Web.

will result in a blank screen when attempting to load any binder in Review Wizard on Web.

Update your local network access browser settings

If a user has already selected
Block
, they can update this configuration in their browser settings. Select
Chrome
or
Edge
for instructions to update your settings depending on your browser of choice.

Follow these instructions to allow
rw.sureprep.com
to look for and connect to any device on your local network on Chrome.
  1. Navigate to your Chrome settings.
  2. Select
    Privacy and security
    , then
    Site settings
    .
  3. Select
    rw.sureprep.com
    from the
    Recent activity
    panel.
  4. Update the
    Local network access
    permission to
    Allow
    , then reload the binder in Review Wizard on Web.
Edge
Follow these instructions to allow
rw.sureprep.com
to look for and connect to any device on your local network on Edge.
  1. Navigate to your Edge settings.
  2. Select
    Privacy, search, and services
    then
    Site permissions
    .
  3. Select
    Recent activity
    and
    rw.sureprep.com
    .
  4. Update the
    Sites can ask to connect to any device on your local network
    permission to
    Allow
    , then reload the binder in Review Wizard on Web.
