Selecting a placeholder SSN for spouse
When handling binders belonging to clients with their
Filing Status
marked as Married Filing Joint
in their Engagement Information
, it's important to verify that their spouse's records (specifically SSN) are present and accurately reported. If a spouse's SSN records are missing from the proforma data available, then the Verification Wizard will allow you to select a temporary placeholder SSN for the affected spouse user.When you encounter such a situation, the Verification Wizard will allow you to select a temporary placeholder SSN for the spouse user. Select the
Recipient's Identification
drop-down menu on the form to select 222-22-2222
as the spouse's SSN placeholder.

The SSN placeholder will not be exported to SPbinder.
