Change document or form type
Ability to Change the Association and Reference of the Document:
- You can change the association of a document if the document is associated under the wrong document type or form type.
- If the Interest income document is wrongly associated under Dividend income form, then you can rectify it by selecting the correct option from the 'Form Type' dropdown.
- The Document Type is correctly selected as 'Source Document'. Select Form type as 1099-INT – Interest Income.Note:Entering the document type name will jump to that option in the Document Type picklist.
- A message window appears 'This will delete all the data on this page. Do you want to continue?'
- Select 'Yes' to delete all the data on the page for the Dividend form created by OCR.
- It then gets replaced by a blank Interest form (the form selected in the Form Type dropdown).
- You can now manually place references for this form as explained earlier.
- Data entered manually will be displayed in black color.
